L'Aquarium de Québec

Carnaval de Québec
The Quebec Winter Carnival, a tradition 63 years strong, showcases the best the cold season has to offer through sports, family activities and celebrations by the dozen. In 2017, Night Parades, giant games, gourmet pleasures, colorful challenges and many other activities light up Quebec City from January 27 to February 12! The King of the festivities, Bonhomme Carnaval, joins visitors on the sites and at his Palace, a massive monument made entirely out of ice. Bonhomme spreads the festive spirit and solidarity everywhere he goes! When he's not celebrating at the Carnival, he's directly supporting dozens of good causes and organizations with the Duchesses, the event's other ambassadors. The Carnival is the largest wintertime attraction in Quebec City and fully deserves its place among the most prestigious winter festivals on Earth.

Fêtes de la Nouvelle France
It's a unique and festive historical event showcasing 17th and 18th century America.
August 1st to August 5th 2018.Thanks to its historical and entertaining atmosphere, its numerous activities for gourmets and its 400 shows, reenactments and lectures, the Fêtes de la NouvelleFrance festival celebrates with both pomp and humour the historical period that gave to Québec city its major role in the history of the continent. Hundreds of artists, crafters and interpreters bring life to this rich cultural heritage. Festive, historical, gastronomical are thus the three words that summarize the idea behind this festival.
At the Festival, you will be immersed in the New France era: 18thcentury soldiers stand guard as merchants do business inside the fortified tenaille of the Arsenal. There's no better reason to savour summer every day thanks to the great barbecue and to numerous local products tasting kiosks.
